Susanna and Puran Bair – Building a Culture of the Heart

Susanna and Puran Bair are co-founders of iamHeart, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being through the transformative practice of Heart Rhythm Meditation (HRM).

Students of Sufi master Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan for more than four decades, they have carried his teachings forward while developing HRM into a practical method that synchronizes breath and heartbeat to create coherence in body, mind, and spirit.


Together, the Bair's have taught thousands of students worldwide, authored influential books such as Living from the Heart and Energize Your Heart, and created the Breath & Heart app, making their practices accessible to people everywhere.


Their mission is to awaken the true power of the heart—not only as a symbol of love, but as a real source of vitality, healing, and transformation.
